Green Photonics 2016

Organized by the Russell Berrie Nanotechnology Institute at Technion and the Center for Nano Photonics at the Technical University of Berlin, and funded by the Reinhard Frank Foundation. The symposium addressed the most pressing issues facing the computer and telecommunication industries as well as research communities: The large energy consumption associated with the ever increasing internet use and the lack of efficient renewable energy sources to support it.
