Nano Main Field:

we are studying rare populations of cells in developing Drosophila embryos and adults. A successful implementation of our research projects requires next-generation RNA sequencing (RNA-seq), which can reveal their unique transcriptom. The Technion Life Sciences and Engineering infrastructure (LS&E) unit provides High Throughput Sequencing, which is required for RNA-seq of this research.

Research Interests

Developmental genetics of Drosophila; the function of TALE-HOX homeoproteins; pattern formation in the peripheral nervous system; proprioceptor development.
