Research Interests:
we use a variety of theoretical approaches to study the thermodynamics and the fluctuations of small out-of-equilibrium systems, such as molecular machines and quantum heat engines. Part of our research focuses on fundamental topics such as fluctuation theorems. Another part deals with simple stochastic models of microscopic machines and their thermodynamic interpretation.
